We have decided to employ only native English and native German-speaking support staff (two full-time and one part-time) in order to introduce the children to the natural use of language in its native tongue. It is important for us not to place pressure on the children to learn in a structured format and we focus on:

  • English as a working and colloquial speech in accordance with the immersion method

  • Explore the significance of what is said out of context (when brushing teeth, breakfast, cleaning, etc.)

  • Intuitive and emotional recording of the second language with all senses through the situational actions and speech of the native teachers

  • No correction or practice of English (not even at home!)

  • Allow the mixing of the German and English language

However, we maintain clear rules on which language should be used for each teacher and situation.

Why have we decided on a bilingual education?

  • Infancy is the most effective time for language learning (optimal development window)

  • Temporary intensity of language - language immersion daily and over several hours

  • Promotes cognitive development through early multilingualism:

  • Allows the pursuit of higher levels of fluency

  • Creates better general thinking skills

  • Creates more tolerance towards other cultures

More than two thirds of humanity is growing up bilingual!
